Fire Joey Crawford (Tim Duncan Ejection Video)
15 04 2007Joey Crawford ejected Tim Duncan with 1:04 left in the third quarter of what could have been a very important game.
Spurs are up 6. Does the NBA need the Mav’s to win this badly?
The offense: ‘Laughing and joking with his teammates on the bench’ You’ll notice in the video… he says nothing. He laughs.
I’m sure Mark Cuban and the fans were happy to see Tim leave the game. But I don’t even think Mark Cuban saw that coming.
The game calling was pathetic, and Joey Crawford has lost touch with his roll and what the fans are paying to see.
He clearly has a vendetta against certain players and cannot fairly call a game. What use is he to the NBA?

I may have a different take here.
Sure Joey Crawford is an idiot, we already know that!
Where is Mark Cuban on this call? Cuban claims to be an advocate of improved refereeing, but he seems strangely silent on this one. Is it only because it worked to his advantage? So does he really want the refereeing to improve or does he just want it his way? After reading his blog today it proves to me the really is only out for himself! To be fair I don’t really expect him to read and answer e-mails from fans of other teams but don’t pretend to care about the NBA and officiating in the NBA if what you really want are the calls to go your way! Even worse he puts himself in the public eye then whines and cries about all the e-mails he gets. There is a difference in having a love for basketball and feeling that the true spirit of the game is being hurt by the officiating and being a whining cry baby like Cuban!
The enemy of my enemy is my friend?
As much as Cuban hates the refs, he must equally hate the Spurs.
In some way Cuban may feel justified in all of this that the referee’s let them win.

Tim Duncan, Joe Crawford and the NBA

Iim not going to comment on what happened during our Spurs game Sunday. My feelings about the subject havent changed and its not worth the money to comment on it here. In fact, I’ve given up writing in this blog about the NBA because my number one rule of blogging is that if you cant offer an honest opinion, say nothing.
What I do want to say to all NBA fans is that if you are not a Mavs fan STOP EMAILING ME ABOUT THE OFFICIATING.
Email the owner of your own team. Email the commissioner of the NBA, email anybody else. Do not email me.
Everytime something questionable happens in an NBA game, my inbox gets slammed with “If you really care about the officiating you would say something”, or “this is why I cant watch the NBA anymore” emails or “I’m a season ticket holder for X years and Im considering cancelling because…”. Im tired of getting and reading emails that by now easily number more than 25k over the years that the management of the team you root for, or the NBA won’t take.
If you were to send all those emails to your owner or GM, maybe they would be concerned with things other than where I stand on the court .
