Are the Mavs just plain soft?
27 04 2007Can anyone believe the Mavs look so bad?
I for one always thought the NBA, the Refs and the Media were treating them like princesses. Now it all comes home to roost, they say adversity builds character and the Mavs have tip toed to the best record in the league without ever getting challenged! Now they face their first challenge of the year and they appear to be crumbling like a sugar cookie.
I said it weeks ago that the Mavs are one injury or big lose from falling apart and it looks like it’s coming true!
I’ll go ahead and make my prediction right now. Mavs lose this series for one of the biggest upsets in NBA history. Avery shows his true colors as a tyrant and loses the teams trust. Cuban blames the NBA and sells the team.

this is bullshit…im a mavs fan and i think there gonna lose this seris but for you to say the refs are helping the mavs in the last article is the most dumbest thing ive ever heard. i think the NBA refs suck but they are definantly not helping the mavs. if you watched games 1,3 and 4 the refs were clearly calling it one sided. maybe in game 2 it was kinda overboard by throwing baron davis out but it wasn’t a ridiculous call. NBA refs suck but they are not helping the mavs. Stern wants this to be a seris because all the eastern confernce games are blowouts and he wants to see the mavs lose because of cuban. Thats all
I can appreciate that I’m bias and sometimes make provocative statements. I believe, like you that he NBA has targeted Mark Cuban which is why he is strangely silent this year. But I do think the refs gave game two to the Mavs! I also believe that the refs gave the Warriors game three.
I will say one thing; I want the Mavs to win because I would love to see a Spurs vs. Mavs Western Conference Championship. I don’t think the NBA is gonna let this series end so soon. Look for this series to go to seven games and I’ll be pulling for the Mavs.
