NBA Broadband still SUCKS!

26 01 2010

I guess I didn’t learn my lesson. I bought League Pass so I could watch my favorite team and it is suppose to include NBA Broadband. NBA Broadband is the worst product ever, only thing worse is the referring in the NBA. DO NOT pay for this feature, they can’t even deliver a whole game, you just might watch the whole game just to be denied the last few minutes of the game.

NBA Broadband is a joke!
NBA Broadband is a waste of money!
NBA Broadband is garbage!
NBA Broadband Blows!
NBA Broadband Sucks!

OK lets see if google can get this out to everyone and hurt the NBA where it means the most!

NBA, refs far from deal

26 08 2009

The NBA’s current contract with its 60-odd referees runs out next week and the sides appear to be far apart on a new deal, according to sources with knowledge of the negotiations.

Sept. 1 is the expiration date of the current five-year pact. One source told ESPN.com on Tuesday that — with the league proposing an across-the-board reduction to the referee budget of an estimated 10 percent — the impasse might not be resolved before the start the 2009-10 season.

As of “right now,” according to the source, existing NBA referees “will not be working preseason [or the] regular season.”

Another source with knowledge of the talks, however, countered by questioning the referees’ willingness to hold out in a depressed economy if it reaches the point that the league threatens to impose a lockout.

NBA Broadband Sucks!

8 03 2009

Don’t bother signing up for NBA Broadband. They promise to make all game available but blackout the best games. Even better they make impossible to locate whether or not a game will be blacked out prior to the game.

If you want to watch an archived game you have to click on a link that “HAS THE SCORE ON THE LINK” no need watching a game that you already know the ending score. Don’t bother trying to send feedback because just like the refereeing in the league they really don’t want your opinion. The Feed back link doesn’t work, what a surprise.

Save your money to buy drinks at a nice cozy sports bar!

NBA Broadband Sux!

Lets see if this gets a response from the beloved league!

Tim Hardaway Hates Gay People

15 02 2007

Tim Hardaway, speaking to columnist Dan Le Batard on his radio show Wednesday, showed why the NBA (despite what the commish would have you believe) is probably nowhere near ready to accept an openly gay player. And he managed to do it in exceptionally ignorant fashion:

“First of all, I wouldn’t want him on my team,” Hardaway replied. “And second of all, if he was on my team, I would really distance myself from him because, uh, I don’t think that is right. I don’t think he should be in the locker room while we are in the locker room.”

No, go ahead, Tim. Tell us how you really feel:

“Something has to give,” he said. “And I think the majority of players would ask for him to be traded or they would want to be traded. Or buy him out of his contract and just let him go. Something has to give. If you have 12 other ballplayers in your locker room that are upset and can’t concentrate and always worried about him in the locker room or on the court it’s going to be hard for your teammates to win and accept him as a teammate.”

You don’t say. Well, Tim, what if this player was a superstar talent?

“If he were that great something would still have to give,” he said. “People would feel uncomfortable with that. If you’re not gay, nobody in that locker room would feel comfortable with that person on your team.”

I see.

What’s that? You have something to add? By all means:

“You know, I hate gay people, so I let it be known. I don’t like gay people and I don’t like to be around gay people. I am homophobic. I don’t like it. It shouldn’t be in the world or in the United States.”
